Solving the planet’s overpopulation problem with AI

This text grew out of observing a discussion on Habr. In conversations with developers and active AI users, I noticed a shift in how people relate to models: they are increasingly treated as a source of interpretation and judgment, and trust in their conclusions grows faster than the habit of verifying and doubting. A new cognitive interaction pattern is emerging, where AI becomes a constant intermediary between a person and information.

Twenty-four people took part in the poll attached to the post. Five participants allowed for the possibility of transferring biological consciousness onto a silicon substrate. This share is small, yet the very presence of such an answer indicates that this idea exists in the professional community.

I describe a possible mechanism of influence that is embedded in the architecture of personalized systems. An algorithm capable of adapting arguments to a specific user can affect their decisions. When such systems scale, an environment emerges in which guided persuasion becomes technologically feasible. The full article in Russian is published on Habr.
