Energy Efficiency of Intelligence

Iām excited to announce the publication of my latest article titled āEnergy Efficiency of Intelligenceā on Habr. In the article, I explore the energy consumption of intelligence and debate whether AI can economically replace human programmers. I argue that human intelligence is far more energy efficient than artificial intelligence, and that the widespread adoption of AGI in the near future is unlikely. If AGI does emerge, it will likely be confined to major corporations and their allied governments.
